Two of the world’s most iconic brands, Coca-Cola and OREO, teamed up to create limited-edition products that perfectly blend their tastes: a Coca‑Cola OREO Zero Sugar drink and the OREO Coca‑Cola Sandwich Cookie.To celebrate the meeting of these two new “besties”, AKQA agency invited LOBO to create a series of films that tap into both brands’ unmistakable iconography: the embossed patterns on the OREO cookies, the classic shape of Coca-Cola’s contour bottle and the golden brown hues and refreshing fizziness of the drink.We loved working with the bold, graphic visual direction of the campaign, which allowed us to explore excitingly dynamic animations while keeping the visual assets from both products perfectly realistic and full of appetite appeal.Our CGI team spared no effort in recreating the crisp texture of the cookie and the creaminess of its filling, as well as exploring realistic fluid dynamics with interesting, deliberate movement patterns that help us tell these stories in engaging ways. All those elements are brought together by a camera that’s constantly in motion, always searching for unusual and bold angles from where to capture all the action. Angles and framings vary dramatically, from extreme close-ups to wide shots, providing expansive views of the compositions as well as enticingly detailed looks into the liquid and cookie’s textures.
